I am sooooo mad right now! I don't often splurge on myself. However, I thought now that I am working full time again it was time to get a good haircut and start coloring (highlighting) it again. I spent an insane amount of time and a decent amount of money to get a really crappy cut and color. You can't tell the color is any different and the cut is NOT WHAT I ASKED FOR. I am not talking "wanted to look like the model in the picture via the haircut". I am talking...asked for her to cut my hair one way, came out with a different length and style than I asked for. I know she got what I was looking for because she asked questions that concurred with the style I desired. So, now I have a football helmet head with really expensive non-highlights. This just sealed my decision to return to the hairstylist that I had prior to getting married. It costs a bit more but at least I will be happy with the outcome.
I am off to wash this blob head and see if I can get some kind of shape other than football out of it.

Sorry your haircut was so dissapointing. Part of the reason I like to cut my own...maybe when I actually get a style I will have to go somewhere again. Hope to see your football head in person soon.

I asked Curt per our conversation the other day and he does go every 2 to 3 weeks for a haircut. And spends about 18 dollars. Men never feel guilty for getting a haircut, it is a necessity. Though unfortunately the math seems to make it fairly even for men and women. Women just have the guilt.
ugh, that's the worst. Let's get the boys together soon! I promise not to mention your hair :) But I'm sure you still look lovely.
Bad hair experiences are the worst!!! You definitely have to stick with someone good when you find them...you just never know what you're going to get with someone new. My worst hair experience was at the Aveda Institute...the girl bleached my hair (which was intended) and in the process fried a chunk in the back off. Now, I know that can happen, BUT she didn't tell me herself. I got to find that out when I got home. I hope your hair grows quickly so you can feel a little more comfortable again.
