Good, Good, Good News
I figured Bad, bad, bad news was up there so long I had to change the energy around! Well, the good news is that Barry and I are expecting our first child in January 2008. We are excited about the journey ahead and have been reading up on what to expect over the next 6 months of pregnancy and the next couple decades of child-rearing. We look forward to sharing our thoughts and feelings with you during this time. So, my first thought...I am 15 weeks pregnant (out of 40 total) which is almost halfway, right? However, I still have 6months of a 9 month pregnancy left. Something just doesn't add up! I will admit to having pregnancy brain so if this makes sense to everyone else I will let it go...

I know we dont see eachother anymore, but I'm very excited for you!! I was in the best shape of my life when I got pregnant with Camden, and just recently lost 10 pounds of leftover baby weight before finding out that I am once again due in December. I guess our bodies just dont like being in such good shape! I wish you the best of luck and hope to get updates from Rachel :)

I am so glad to see this post! I was secretly hoping you'd use your journey blog for this journey! Oh, and definitely don't waste time trying to figure out how the whole weeks/months stuff breaks down....it doesn't make sense until you look at 40 wks being 10 months, and then well, that's not really the direction you were going with the whole countdown....
